Fennovoima and the plant supplier RAOS Project are preparing for the upcoming stages of the Hanhikivi 1 project, which at the construction site means specifically preparing for the construction of the power plant.

The combined area of the temporary buildings on the Hanhikivi peninsula has already exceeded 100,000 square meters.

At present, Fennovoima’s administrative building is being erected on the site. The excavation of the plant pit also continues. The concrete caissons for standby cooling water intake channel were installed. In addition, ten storage halls were built next to the accommodation village and the canteen opened.
